Former McCook Community College Volleyball Player Now on MCC Volleyball Coaching Staff

McCook Community College Head Volleyball Coach Hayley Kobza has added a former player to her coaching staff.  Evie Hopkinson will now serve as Coach Kobza assistant coach.  Hopkinson played under Kobza during the 2019 and 2020 seasons and was elected team captain for the 2020 season and led the team in digs per set (4.0).  She went on to Missouri Valley College in Marshall, Mo. where she continued her volleyball career for three seasons and had 571 career digs in 92 matches. She graduated in December of 2023 with a degree in education studies and a minor in business administration.
